Diese Veröffentlichung ist einigermaßen merkwürdig und mysteriös, denn sie erfolgte nur digital im i-Tunes Store von Apple, wurde offiziell vorher nicht angekündigt oder gar beworben. Plötzlich und unerwartet waren diese 59 Aufnahmen am 17.12.2013 erhältlich. Sämtliche Songs der Veröffentlichung waren zuvor nicht offiziell veröffentlicht worden. Im einzelnen setzen sich die Tracks aus 42 Track die für die BBC, 15 Tracks die für Parlophone aufgenommen wurden, sowie 2 Demoaufnahmen zusammen. Ein offizielle Veröffentlichung auf einem physischen Tonträger erfolgte (bisher) nicht. Auch weitere Bootleg Recordings wurden, entgegen der Hoffnung vieler Fans, nicht über i-Tunes veröffentlicht. Diese Songs sind aber ein Must-Have für die Hardcore Fans der Beatles. Zwar sind alle Aufnahmen, bis auf eine Ausnahme, bereits von diversen Bootlegs, die in den letzten Jahrzehnten erschienen sind, bekannt, jedoch ist diese Veröffentlichung der klanglich besser und die Studioouttakes, die bisher nur in Mono bekannt waren, wurden nun in Stereo veröffentlicht.
